on March 2, 1962, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, Jon Bon Jovi knew in his early teens that he wanted to be a rock star.
He formed the band Bon Jovi in the 1980s, which became popular for its power ballads, soaring guitar riffs, and well-crafted melodies. Jon was raised by his parents, Carol and John Bongiovi, a hairdresser.
Jon has released two solo albums and eleven studio albums with his band, which to date have sold over 130 million albums worldwide making them one of the world’s best-selling music artists.
The hit song “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” was used in a 2006 tourism campaign for his home state of New Jersey.
Lane revealed, “I have some photos of him packing for the tour. For the whole band to get through the whole tour.” She explained that the rock stars needed a little extra support under their notoriously tight leather pants.
Diane Lane dropped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday, May 8, and dished on once dating Jon Bon Jovi in the '80s.
"Five months, I was 20," the Paris Can Wait actress, now 52, said.
"And I think every girl should have such a wonderful experience when she's that young."Lane even saw off the musician, 55, before his Slippery When Wet shows. It was very surreal." Years after her relationship with Bon Jovi, Lane tried out for the role of Vivian Ward in Pretty Woman, which eventually went to Julia Roberts. At that time, as I've said on other shows, it was a very different show," Lane said on Monday night.
Bon Jovi spokesman Ken Sunshine told Page Six: “Rich is remembered as a nice enough guy who was eventually in over his head as the band’s success grew.He met keyboardist David Bryan in high school, and the two formed a ten-piece rhythm and blues band called Atlantic City Expressway.Jon also performed with bands called The Rest, The Lechers and John Bongiovi and the Wild Ones.“It may have been from a visit to a public bath house, or too close social contact with all the fashion models,” Bozzett writes.“Anyway, in Japan, nobody has any body hair, so they never even heard of ‘crabs.’ much less have the meds to get rid of them.aftershow, Diane Lane dished about dating Jon Bon Jovi back in the heyday of hair bands.
