Valentine, best known for her role as Ramsay Street's Libby Kennedy, went public with the relationship at a recent David Gray concert in South Melbourne.She has now told the Herald Sun: "I'm not ready to talk about it yet.
She has previously spoken of her upset at producers' decision to cast Michala Banas to temporarily play Libby when she first fell ill in 2008.
The 36-year-old actress wants to return to the show as Libby Kennedy which she played between 19, before taking two years sick leave following a string of health problems.
Australian newspaper The Age reports it has obtained documents which show Kym is seeking compensation for lost wages and "pain, hurt, suffering and humiliation", an acknowledgement that she suffered unlawful discrimination and an apology.
"We warmly welcome Kym back on the Neighbours family," said series producer, Jason Herbison, "and we are sure audiences will be excited to see Libby back on Ramsay Street." Valentine's scenes are expected to be broadcast in Australia this summer before appearing on UK screens this Autumn.
